Creamy Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Create mashed potatoes that your crew will love with this simple recipe! Whether you prefer them perfectly creamy or more textured, with or without the skin, these mashers will be fantastic.

Ingredients:
- 1 Head Garlic
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 3 lbs. Golden Potatoes, peeled and quartered (Like the skin on? Just give a wash!)
- 8 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- Salt and Pepper to taste (We recommend starting with 1 tsp salt and a generous pinch of pepper. White pepper is also a great option.)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Drizzle garlic with olive oil, then wrap in aluminum foil. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.

  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes, and cook until tender, about 25 minutes. Drain.

  4. Stir in butter, cream, salt and pepper.

  5. Remove the garlic from the oven and cut in half. Squeeze the softened cloves into the potatoes.

  6. Blend potatoes with an electric mixer or mash until desired consistency is achieved. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Optional: Garnish with your favorite chopped fresh herbs. Try parsley, rosemary or green onions.
